Men's Soccer begins conference play tonight

Fresh off a 2-1 victory over Fort Hays State last weekend, the Rockhurst men's soccer team turns to conference play this weekend against McKendree and Missouri-St. Louis at Bourke Field.

The Hawks (2-1) host McKendree (2-0-2) at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Bearcats are coming off a 0-0 tie with Northeastern (Okla.) State last Sunday in Memphis, Tennessee.

Rockhurst blanked McKendree, 2-0, last year in Kansas City. The Hawks lead the all-time series, 7-3-1.

Missouri-St. Louis comes to Bourke Field for a 2:30 p.m. game on Sunday. The Tritons (1-0-1) open conference play at William Jewell on Friday.

Rockhurst owns a 15-6-5 lead in the all-time series with UMSL. The Hawks edged the Tritons, 1-0, last year in Kansas City.
