The Rockhurst women's basketball team finished with the seventh highest grade point average (3.776) among NCAA Division II schools in 2022-23, according to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Team Honor Rolls released on August 1.

This marks the 20th time that the Hawks have finished in the Top 25 academically since 1997-98. Rockhurst leads a group of six Great Lakes Valley Conference schools in the Division II Top 25. The Hawks had 17 members of the squad named to the Academic All-GLVC team.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2022-23 season is the 28th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
