The Rockhurst men's tennis team defeated Maryville by a 4-1 score in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Tennis Tournament quarterfinals Friday at the Indy Racquet Club East in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Hawks (13-7) will face fifth-ranked Indianapolis in the GLVC semifinals at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

Rockhurst won a point in doubles with 6-0 and 6-4 wins in No. 1 and 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles match was unfinished with Rockhurst leading 5-4.

Semyon Tsyrenov and Agustin Cortes were two-set winners in No. 2 and 3 singles. Felipe Castellanos won in three sets in No. 4 singles.
