Late rally leads Hawks to sweep over McKendree

Rockhurst rallied in the bottom of the seventh inning to post a 9-8 victory over McKendree to complete a sweep of Saturday's conference doubleheader. The Hawks won the first game, 6-3, behind a four-run first inning.

  • Loeffelman hit a two-run walk-off single in the seventh inning for his third hit of the game to cap a six-run rally in the final inning.
  • Malik Stevenson finished with three hits and three runs scored.
  • Mac Cross came off the bench to drive in three runs with an RBI double and two-run single.
