Logan Derosia scored five goals on nine shots to help lead the Rockhurst women's lacrosse team to an 18-12 victory over Lewis on Sunday at Bourke Field.
Derosia and Mackenzie Blair found the net two times in the first half to help give the Hawks a 7-6 halftime lead. Five Hawks would score in the second half to extend the lead to 18 and finish with a win.
Blair finished with four goals, three assists, and nine draw controls. Christine Corbin had four-goals and six draw controls. Addison Bradley, Dani Mabry, and Carolyn Byrd combined for five goals and two ground balls.
Kelly Marion and Reagan Danner each collected three draw controls. Sydney Shindler and Madeline Morrison combined for seven saves.
Rockhurst finished with 36 shots, 10 ground balls, and 23 draw controls.
The Hawks (9-4, 3-1 GLVC) travel to No. 14 Maryville on Friday. Â Â
