The Rockhurst women's lacrosse team fell at 12th-ranked Maryville, 26-11, Friday in St. Louis, Missouri.
Maryville jumped out to a 7-3 lead after the first period and took a 14-8 lead into halftime. The Saints added 12 goals in the second half.
Logan Derosia led the Hawks with three goals (on six shots) and three assists. Carolyn Byrd and Christine Corbin each scored two goals.
Mackenzie Blair collected five draw controls, two caused turnovers, two ground balls, one goal and one assist. Kelly Marion tallied two draw controls, two ground balls and one goal. Catey Roux added three draw controls, one caused turnvover and one goal.
Audrey Titzer posted a team-high three caused turnovers. Sydney Shindler and Mae Beins combined for 11 saves.
Rockhurst finished with 31 shots, 16 ground balls and 14 draw controls.
The Hawks (9-5, 3-2 GLVC) play at McKendree on Sunday.
