Baseball ends weekend with split at SBU

Rockhurst scored four runs in the fifth inning on the way to a 6-1 victory over Southwest Baptist in the first game of a conference baseball doubleheader Sunday in Bolivar, Missouri. The Bearcats rebounded to win the second game, 5-3.

  • Forte singled home a run in the first and hit a solo home run in the eighth.
  • Malik Stevenson gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead with an RBI single in the second.
