Balanced attack leads Hawks past Northern Michigan

Eight players scored goals to power the Rockhurst women's lacrosse team to a 16-9 victory over Northern Michigan Friday in Quincy, Illinois.

Logan Derosia and Mackenzie Blair led the Hawks with three goals apiece. Blair added four draw controls and two caused turnovers. Dani Mabry posted two goals and one assist.

Reagan Danner and Christine Corbin scored two goals apiece. Kharis Perona posted two goals and four draw controls. Addison Bradley and Carolyn Byrd each collected one goal. Kelly Marion added five draw controls.

Rockhurst finished with 30 shots and 15 draw controls. Sydney Shindler and Madeline Morrison combined for 15 saves.

The Hawks (4-1) travel to Colorado during spring break trip, beginning Tuesday at No. 24 Colorado Mesa.
