Hawks earn three GLVC postseason honors

Molly Hummel averaged 10.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Three members of the Rockhurst women's basketball team received postseason honors from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, as the league office announced the Women's Basketball postseason awards on Wednesday (March 1).

Keegan Sullivan earned a spot on the All-GLVC Second Team. The junior forward ranks eighth in scoring (15.9 pg), 10th in rebounding (6.9 pg) and eighth in steals (1.4 pg) in the GLVC. She scored in double figures in 23 games and tallied a season-high 27 points against Parkside on Nov. 12.


Molly Hummel was named to the All-GLVC Third Team. The senior forward is 28th in scoring (10.7 per game), 11th in rebounding (6.7 pg), fifth in steals (1.8 pg) and sixth in blocks (0.8 pg) in the GLVC. She scored in double figures in 18 games and scored a season-high of 18 points at Upper Iowa on Nov. 16.

Ali Kamies nabbed a spot on the GLVC All-Freshman Team. She finished the year with a 9.4 scoring average. Kamies scored in double figures in 13 games and scored a season-high of 24 points against Illinois Springfield on Feb. 16.

Senior center Abby Girard was Rockhurst's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship honoree.
