The Rockhurst women scored the game's first two goals, leading the Hawks to a 10-7 victory over McKendree on Sunday at Bourke Field.

Logan Derosia scored two of the Hawks' first three goals as Rockhurst took a 5-4 lead into halftime. Reagan Danner and Carolyn Bryd struck after the half to extend the lead to 7-4. Kharis Perona capped the scoring with 5:22 left to play.

Derosia led the Hawks with two goals and one ground ball. Jaeden Waschbusch, Dani Mabry, Kharis Perona, Carolyn Byrd and Kelly Marion each scored a goal.

Christine Corbin posted five draw controls, three caused turnovers, three ground balls and one goal. Marion added two caused turnovers and two draw controls.

Rockhurst finished with 23 shots and 21 ground balls. On Tuesday, the Hawks (2-0) return to action against No. 9 Regis University.
