No. 7 Greyhounds hold off Rockhurst

Indianapolis held off Rockhurst in the final minute to post a 67-60 victory over the Hawks Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The seventh-ranked Greyhounds made all six of their free throws in the final 68 seconds to pull away for their 15th consecutive victory.

Rockhurst went on a 13-6 run down the stretch to cut UIndy's lead to 61-60 at the 1:34 mark on a 3-pointer by Davit Kakushadze.

Rich Byhre led the Hawks with 21 points and seven rebounds. The junior forward connected on five-of-10 three-pointers.

Kakushadze posted 18 points and five rebounds. Nick Arensberg collected six points and seven rebounds.

Jesse Bingham led UIndy (21-2, 13-2 GLVC) with 19 points.
