Five Hawks earn Men's Soccer Academic All-District honors

Five Rockhurst student-athletes were selected to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Men's Soccer Academic All-District Team.

Max Banestig, Jacopo Belardo, Daniele Bizzarri, Brenden Dolan and Cristoforo LiCavoli are recognized for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.. Belardo and Dolan are two-time All-District honorees.

Banestig, a sophomore defender from Norrtaelje, Sweden, posted one assist in 16 games.

Belardo, a junior midfielder from Rome, Italy, earned All-GLVC Third Team honors. He scored 12 points on five goals and two assists in 17 games.

Bizzarri, a sophomore midfielder from Genoa, Italy, scored two goals in 17 games.

Dolan, a graduate student defender from St. Louis, played 1,302 minutes in 16 games.

LiCavoli, a senior forward from St. Louis, Missouri, scored six points on two goals and two assists in 15 games.
