Seniors lead Hawks to 3-1 win over SBU

The Rockhurst women's volleyball team posted a 3-1 victory over Southwest Baptist Saturday on Senior Day at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 24th-ranked Hawks split the first two sets, winning the first set, 25-22, and dropping the second set, 25-22. Rockhurst won the next two sets, 25-13 and 25-14.

Senior Tera Reberry paced the Hawks with 12 kills and four blocks. Sarah Pyle tallied 10 kills, 12 digs and five service aces. Ali Olson and Sydney Raszler combined for 16 kills and 12 blocks.

Senior Maureen Reilly finished with 25 digs. Senior Sarah Montague had 28 assists and seven digs. Molly Trachta added 11 assists.

Rockhurst (21-5, 9-3 GLVC) closes out the regular season at William Jewell at 6 p.m. Friday.
