Strong finish carries Hawks to 3-1 win over Drury

Madison McClain and Tera Reberry combined for 30 kills to lead the Rockhurst women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Drury Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 24th-ranked Hawks split the first two sets, winning the first set, 25-22, and dropping the second set, 29-27. Rockhurst won the next two sets, 25-14 and 25-16.

McClain led the Hawks with a season-high 16 kills and a .433 hitting percentage. Reberry posted 14 kills and a .394 hitting percentage.

Sydney Raszler tallied 10 kills and three blocks. Lexi Theis collected nine kills, 12 digs and three blocks. Ali Olson and Taylor Roberts combined for 13 kills and six blocks.

Maureen Reilly finished with 24 digs. Sarah Montague had 33 assists and nine digs. Molly Trachta added 20 assists and seven digs.

Rockhurst (20-5, 8-3 GLVC) hosts Southwest Baptist on Senior Day at 3 p.m. Saturday.
