Rockhurst men face Lewis in GLVC Tournament

The Rockhurst Hawks travel north to play Lewis in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Soccer Tournament at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Romeoville, Illinois.

Rockhurst is making its 15th appearance in the GLVC Tournament. The Hawks have won six GLVC Tournament titles: 2005, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

The Hawks finished the regular season with a 7-7-2 overall record and placed seventh in the GLVC with a 5-6-2 record.

Lewis (9-3-4, 9-2-2 GLVC) finished second behind Illinois Springfield in the GLVC. The Flyers have outscored their opponents, 24-12.

The all-time series is even at 14-14-4 since 1998. Lewis has won the last four meetings, including posting a 2-0 win in Romeoville on Sept. 24.
