First-half run carries Hawks to 81-64 victory

Rockhurst jumped out to a 19-point halftime lead on the way to posting an 81-64 victory over Davenport in the GLVC/GLIAC Challenge Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks closed the first half on a 32-13 run to take a 47-28 lead into halftime. Rockhurst grabbed a 28-point lead twice in the second half.

Nico Felici led the Hawks with 14 points, five assists and three 3-point field goals. Miles White tallied 12 points and seven rebounds.

Timaris Brown posted nine points, eight rebounds and two steals. Nick Arensberg, Jake Auer and Aidan Clarey each finished with nine points.

Rockhurst shot 44.1 percent from the field (26-of-59) and 43.5 percent behind the 3-point line (10-of-23).
