Shirley leads Hawks at Flyer Intercollegiate

Elijah Shirley led the Hawks with a 36-hole score of 147

The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Flyer Intercollegiate Invite Tuesday at the Cog Hill Golf and Counry Club in Lemont, Illinois.

The Hawks shot a 296 on the second day to finish with a 36-hole score of 597. Davenport won the team title at 573.

Elijah Shirley led the Hawks, tying for 11th place at 149 (73-74). Ben Elgas finished two shots behind Shirley in a tie for 20th place at 149 (74-75).

David Schilp placed 24th at 150 (78-72), Andrew Park tied for 25th at 151 (76-75), and Mike Wolski tied for 47th at 158 (83-75).
