Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Pyle powers Hawks to 3-1 win over Upper Iowa

Sarah Pyle posted 11 kills, 13 digs and three service aces to lead the Rockhurst women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Upper Iowa Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 25th-ranked Hawks won the first set, 25-20, and dropped the second set, 26-24. The Hawks won the next two sets, 25-14 and 25-22.

Tera Reberry tallied a team-high 12 kills with a .290 hitting percentage. Ali Olson tallied 10 kills and eight blocks.

Madison McClain collected nine kills and four blocks. Sydney McDonald added eight kills and five blocks.

Maureen Reilly led the Hawks with 25 digs. Molly Trachta and Sarah Montague combined for  48 assists and 16 digs.

Rockhurst (18-4, 6-2 GLVC) plays at 24th-ranked Quincy at 6 p.m. Friday.
