Balanced attack leads Hawks over Truman

Four players combined for 49 kills to lead the Rockhurst women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Truman State Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 25th-ranked Hawks dropped the first set, 25-20. The Hawks won the next three sets, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-15.

Sydney Raszler posted a team-high 14 kills with a .500 hitting percentage. Tera Reberry tallied 13 kills and three blocks. Madison McClain tallied 12 kills.

Sarah Pyle had a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. Ali Olson added eight kills and seven blocks.

Maureen Reilly led the Hawks with 19 digs. Sarah Montague and Molly Trachta combined for 53 assists and 18 digs.

Rockhurst (17-4, 5-2 GLVC) hosts Upper Iowa at 3 p.m. Saturday.
