Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Hawks fall to No. 13 Prairie Stars, 1-0

The Rockhurst men's soccer team fell to 13th-ranked Illinois Springfield, 1-0, Sunday at Bourke Field. The loss drops the Hawks to 4-7-2 overall and 2-6-2 in the GLVC.

Springfield scored on a penalty kick in the 85th minute. The Prairie Stars (9-1-3, 8-0-1 GLVC) finished with 10 shots and five shots on goal.

Rockhurst posted all three of its shots in the second half. Cristoforo LiCavoli, Xavier Hadley and Brenden Dolan each posted a shot. RU's Fabio D'Errico made four saves in goal.

The Hawks play at Drury at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
