Hawks end Crossover with loss to Grand Valley

The Rockhurst women's volleyball team wrapped up play in the Midwest Region Crossover with a 3-0 loss to Grand Valley State Saturday in Hammond, Indiana.

The 25th-ranked Hawks dropped the first set, 25-22, as Grand Valley State closed the set on a 9-6 run. The Lakers won the next two sets, 25-21 and 25-19.

Tera Reberry posted 11 kills with a .360 hitting percentage. Sarah Pyle tallied eight kills and five digs. Ali Olson added seven kills.

Maureen Reilly led the Hawks with 13 digs. Sarah Montague and Molly Trachta combined for 26 assists and nine digs.

Rockhurst (16-4) returns home to play Truman State at 6 p.m. Friday.
