Rockhurst posts 3-1 win over No. 24 Walsh

Tera Reberry posted 17 kills to lead the Rockhurst women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over 24th-ranked Walsh Friday in the Midwest Region Crossover in Hammond, Indiana.

The 25th-ranked Hawks won the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-23. Walsh grabbed a 25-15 win in the third set. Rockhurst won the fourth set, 25-19,

Sarah Pyle tallied 11 kills and 12 digs. Sydney Raszler added nine kills. Maureen Reilly had a team-high 18 digs. Sarah Montague and Molly Trachta combined for 43 assists and 14 digs.

The Hawks came back to sweep Purdue Northwest, 3-0, Friday night. Sydney Raszler led Rockhurst with 11 kills. Pyle added nine kills and 17 digs. Reilly posted 21 digs.

Rockhurst (16-3) plays Grand Valley State in the Midwest Region Crossover at 2 p.m. Saturday.
