Southwest Baptist downs Hawks

Six players scored in double figures to carry Southwest Baptist to a 92-66 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night in Bolivar, Missouri.

The Bearcats jumped out to a 43-35 halftime lead behind 62.1 percent shooting from the field. Baptist closed the game on a 23-10 run.

Rich Byhre led the Hawks with 19 points and seven rebounds. Byhre made five-of-nine field goals and hit three-of-five 3-pointers.

Rron Thaci scored a season-high 10 points with three 3-point field goals. Miles White posted eight points and three rebounds. Nico Felici tallied seven points and three assists.

Mitch Ganote led Baptist (13-5, 5-5 GLVC) with 19 points and 10 assists.
