Hawks end weekend with 3-1 win over SW Baptist

Rockhurst rebounded from its first loss of the season to post a 3-1 victory over Southwest Baptist on the final day of the Drury/Southwest Baptist Invitational Saturday in Bolivar, Missouri.

The Hawks won the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-17. After dropping the third set 25-22, Rockhurst closed out the match with a 25-21 win in the fourth set.

Tera Reberry led the Hawks with 16 kills. Sydney McDonald collected 10 kills and six blocks. Kenzie Hines had 10 kills and 10 digs. Gracie LaForge added eight kills and six blocks.

Maureen Reilly totaled 21 digs. Sarah Montague had 26 assists and 14 digs. Brynn Bonewell added 21 assists and nine digs.

Rockhurst begin the day with a 3-0 loss to 13th-ranked Southwest Minnesota State (25-21, 25-20, 25-16). Hines posted a team-high 10 kills. Lexi Theis added eight kills. Reilly posted 15 digs. Montague and Bonewell each tallied 12 assists and six digs.
