Rockhurst falls in four sets to No. 18 Jennies

Central Missouri rallied in the fourth set to hold off Rockhurst for a 3-1 victory (25-22, 18-25, 25-17, 25-23) Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The 18th-ranked Jennies used a 9-4 run to edge the Hawks by two points in the fourth set. Rockhurst took a 19-16 lead by going on a 9-1 run in set four.

Kenzie Hines led the Hawks with 16 kills and 14 digs. Maureen Reilly tallied a game-high 29 digs. Sydney Raszler collected 12 kills with a .529 hitting percentage.

Tera Reberry and Sydney McDonald combined for 16 kills. Sarah Montague had 24 assists and 13 digs. Brynn Bonewell posted 16 assists and three service aces. Gracey Janes added 11 digs.
 
Rockhurst held the Jennies to a .167 hitting percentage. The Hawks finished with 49 kills, 74 digs and 11 service aces.

Rockhurst (7-2) opens conference play on Sept. 17 at home against Southwest Baptist.
