No. 17 Hawks get ready for Tritons, Saints

Andrea Dorella leads the GLVC with a 0.29 goals against average.
The two upcoming games on the schedule will be pivotal for the Rockhurst men's soccer team. The 17th-ranked Hawks host Missouri-St. Louis at 7:30 p.m. Friday and travel to Maryville for a 2:30 p.m. game on Sunday.

Rockhurst brings a 4-0-3 overall record into the weekend. The Hawks are in second place in the GLVC with a 3-0-1 record.

UMSL (3-4-2, 2-2-1 GLVC) is coming off a 1-1 tie at Truman State on Sunday. The Tritons have outscored their opponents 15-13 this season.

The Hawks and Tritons tied 0-0 last year in St. Louis. Rockhurst leads the series 14-6-5 since 1998.

Maryville (5-3-1) currently stands in first place in the GLVC with a 4-0-1 record. The Saints are coming off shutout wins over Truman State and Quincy.

The Hawks shut out Maryville 2-0 last year in St. Louis. Rockhurst holds an 11-4-1 advantage over the Saints since 2009.

"These games are totally unpredictable because they are intense. It's going to be a great weekend of soccer playing against two very good teams," said Rockhurst coach Tony Tocco.
