Volleyball rallies for 3-2 victory at Drury

Rockhurst rallied in the fifth set for a dramatic 3-2 victory over Drury in GLVC volleyball action Friday night in Springfield, Missouri.

The Hawks overcame 11-7 and 13-10 deficits, and two match points by Drury, to win the fifth set 19-17. Kenzie Hines and Lexi Theis posted kills to end the match.

Rockhurst won the first and third sets, 25-20 and 25-22. Drury captured the second and fourth sets, 25-20 and 25-21.

Tera Reberry led the Hawks with 12 kills and eight blocks. Hines finished with 11 kills and 20 digs. Theis and Sydney Raszler each collected nine kills. Gracie LaForge added seven kills and nine blocks.

Maureen Reilly posted a game-high 31 digs. Sarah Montague had 33 assists and 10 digs. Brynn Bonewell collected 15 assists and five digs. Gracey Janes added 10 digs.
 
Rockhurst finished with a .219 hitting percentage. The Hawks finished with 57 kills, 79 digs and 13 blocks.
