Rockhurst falls in four sets at Missouri S&T

Rockhurst dropped the first two sets in falling to Missouri S&T, 3-1, in GLVC volleyball action Saturday in Rolla, Missouri.

The Miners rallied from a 24-20 deficit to win the first set, 27-25, and S&T posted a 25-20 win in the second set. The Hawks dominated the third set, 25-12, before suffering a 25-17 loss in the fourth set.

Tera Reberry led the Hawks with 20 kills and 20.5 points. The junior right side hitter had a .486 hitting percentage. Gracie LaForge posted eight kills and seven blocks. Freshman Sydney Raszler collected eight kills and six digs.

Sarah Montague finished with 36 assists and 12 digs. Maureen Reilly and Gracey Janes each tallied 11 digs.
 
Rockhurst posted a .190 hitting percentage. The Hawks finished with 52 kills, 57 digs and eight blocks.

The Hawks (9-3, 2-1 GLVC) return home to host Missouri-St. Louis on Friday at 6 p.m.
