Rockhurst falls in three sets to UMSL Tritons

Missouri-St. Louis held off Rockhurst in the first and third sets to defeat the Hawks, 3-0, in GLVC volleyball action Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks rallied from a 15-7 deficit before dropping the first set, 25-23. UMSL overcame four set points to win the third set, 33-31.

Tera Reberry led the Hawks with 12 kills and four blocks. Freshman Sydney Raszler posted 10 kills and five blocks. Kenzie Hines collected eight kills and 17 digs.

Sarah Montague finished with 33 assists and four digs. Maureen Reilly tallied 17 digs.
 
Rockhurst posted a .196 hitting percentage. The Hawks finished with 46 kills, 61 digs and seven blocks.
