Connor Ellefson drove in two runs to lead Rockhurst to a 5-2 victory over Southwest Baptist in the first game of a conference doubleheader Saturday at RU's Loyola Park. The Hawks completed the sweep with an 11-5 win over the Bearcats in the second game.

Game One: RU 5, Southwest Baptist 2
Clayton Medlin (4-4) and Michael Laudando held SBU to seven hits over seven innings while combining for 13 strikeouts.

• Ellefson had an RBI groundout in the first and hit a solo home run in the sixth.
• Hoyt Bennett and Tommy Kraus each had an RBI double.

Game Two: RU 11, Southwest Baptist 5
The Hawks scored four runs in the fifth to take an 8-5 lead and added three runs in the sixth.

• John Shecut Jr., Patrick Wind and Cole Wagner combined for six hits and eight RBIs.
• Jake Canent (2-1) and Michael Hellman held SBU to three runs on seven hits over the final five innings.
