GLVC Tournament has been delayed until Saturday

The Hawks will Indy in a single elimination game on Saturday.

The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Friday morning that, due to field condition and rain in the East Peoria, Illinois area, the GLVC Softball Championship Tournament at the EastSide Centre has been delayed until Saturday.

The 2022 GLVC Softball Championship Tournament has been changed from a double-elimination tournament to a single elimination tournament due to the first two days of the tournament being washed out due to rain and wet field conditions.

The seventh-seeded Hawks will No. 2 seed Indianapolis at 4 p.m. Saturday. All four first-round games will be played Saturday, while the semifinals and championship will be played Sunday.

If Rockhurst defeats Indy on Saturday, the Hawks will play the winner between the No. 3 seed, Drury, and the No. 6 seed, Illinois Springfield, at 12:30 p.m. Sunday. The GLVC Championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m.
