Men's Lacrosse falls at eighth-ranked Indianapolis

The Rockhurst men's lacrosse team fell at eighth-ranked Indianapolis 14-7 Saturday in Indianapolis.

Indianapolis jumped out to an 8-4 halftime lead after closing the first half on a 5-1 run over the final nine minutes of the second period.

The Hawks rallied to pull within three goals at 10-7 early in the fourth period. The Greyhounds ended the game on a 4-0 run over the final 14 minutes.

Ricky Bloom led the Hawks with two goals and one assist. Brooks Hanson scored two goals on three shots.

Sam Lindahl tallied a team-high four ground balls and scored one goal. Luke Leonard added three caused turnovers. Hayden Harris finished with 14 saves.

Rockhurst finished with 24 shots, while Indianapolis collected 50 shots.

The Hawks (6-4, 3-1 GLVC) return home to host Colorado Mesa on Saturday, April 16.
