Mabry leads Hawks to 13-6 win at Lewis

Dani Mabry scored six goals on seven shots to lead the Rockhurst women's lacrosse team to a 13-6 victory over Lewis Friday night in Romeoville, Illinois.

Mabry found the nets four times in the first half to help give the Hawks a 6-5 halftime lead. Her fourth goal came with 13 seconds left in the first half.

Helen Krause scored four points on one goal and three assists. Christine Corbin finished with two goals and seven draw controls. Reagan Danner tallied two goals on three shots.

Mackenzie Blair posted five draw controls, three ground balls, one caused turnover, one goal and two assists. Sydney Shindler and Madeline Morrison combined for eight saves and five ground balls.

Rockhurst finished with 28 shots and 16 draw controls. The Hawks (7-4, 2-0 GLVC) play at second-ranked Indianapolis on Sunday.
