Mabry leads Hawks to 16-3 win at Quincy

Dani Mabry scored five goals on seven shots to lead the Rockhurst women's lacrosse team to a 16-3 victory over Quincy on Friday in Quincy, Illinois.

Mabry found the nets four times in the first half to help give the Hawks a 10-2 halftime lead. Mabry's fifth goal came with 4:41 left in the third period.

Logan Derosia tallied three goals, two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Christine Corbin had two goals and four draw controls. Helen Krause added two goals.

Mackenzie Blair posted three draw controls, two assists, one goal and one ground ball. Madison Cook collected four ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control. Sydney Shindler had three saves in the first half.

Rockhurst finished with 43 shots, 16 ground balls and 13 draw controls.

The Hawks (9-6, 4-2 GLVC) host Maryville at 11 a.m. Sunday.
