Lindahl leads Hawks to 15-10 win at Lewis

Sam Lindahl scored five goals and assisted on two other goals to lead Rockhurst to a 15-10 victory over Lewis Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.

Lindahl tallied two goals and two assists to help give the Hawks a 9-1 halftime lead. The senior attacker added a goal in the third period and two more in the fourth period. Lindahl also had 11 shots and four ground balls.

Alec Heflin tallied three goals on six shots. Ricky Bloom posted two goals and two assists. John Myran tacked on one goals and six assists.

Judge Greenberger collected three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Brady Noernberg and Luke Leonard each had two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Zach Cegielski posted 16-of-27 faceoff wins and 10 ground balls. Hayden Harris finished with 11 saves.

Rockhurst finished with 33 shots, while Lewis collected 37 shots.

The Hawks (6-3, 3-0 GLVC) play at eighth-ranked Indianapolis on Saturday, April 9.
