Men score early in 14-8 win at Quincy

The Rockhurst men's lacrosse team scored the first six goals of the game on the way to posting a 14-8 victory over Quincy Tuesday night in Quincy, Illinois.

Sam Lindahl led the Hawks with four goals and one assist. The senior attacker scored three goals and assisted on another goal to help give the Hawks a 9-1 halftime lead.

Alec Heflin tallied three goals and two assists. Jake Fisher posted two goals and one assist. Jack Vande Ven scored two goals. John Myran added one goal and one assist.

Hayden Harris finished with 18 saves and five ground balls. Matt Buckley and Matt Campion each had three caused turnovers and two ground balls.

Rockhurst finished with 46 shots, while Quincy collected 43 shots.

The Hawks (7-5, 4-1 GLVC) host eighth-ranked Lindenwood on Saturday, April 23.
