The Rockhurst baseball team wrapped up its three-game series at Kentucky State with a split of a Saturday doubleheader in Frankfurt, Kentucky. The Hawks won the first game 17-9 and dropped game two, 16-4.

Game One: RU 17, Kentucky State 9
The Hawks scored four runs in the first and five in the third to take a 9-0 lead. Rockhurst finished with 13 hits.

• Devon Farrell and Cole Wagner combined for five hits and four RBIs.
• Freshman right-hander Michael Laudando struck out eight in winning his third game of the year.

Game Two: Kentucky State 16, RU 4
Kentucky State broke a 4-4 tie with six runs in the fourth inning.

• Connor Ellefson led the Hawks with two hits and two RBIs.
• The two teams combined for six errors.
