The Rockhurst baseball team swept a doubleheader over Truman State on Sunday at RU's Loyola Park. The Hawks won the first game, 5-1, in seven innings and captured the second game, 6-3, in nine innings.

Game One: RU 5, Truman State 1
Michael Laudando struck out seven and held the Bulldogs to three hits in improving his record to 4-1.

• Hoyt Bennett drove in two runs with a double in the fourth and a single in the sixth.
• Connor Ellefson, Adonis Forte and Cole Wagner each had two hits.

Game Two: RU 6, Truman State 3
Tommy Kraus drove in three runs on three hits to lead the 12-hit Rockhurst attack.

• Malik Stevenson, Ethan Kleinheider and Bennett posted two hits apiece.
• Freshman Ethan Kulpinski held the Bulldogs to two runs on four hits over 5.1 innings.
