Lindahl leads Hawks to 13-6 win over CSU-Pueblo

Sam Lindahl scored five goals to lead Rockhurst to a 13-6 victory over Colorado State-Pueblo Friday night at Bourke Field.

Lindahl scored two of the Hawks' first four goals and assisted on Rockhurst's fifth goal to give the Hawks a 5-2 halftime lead. The senior attacker added three goals in the second half. His fifth goal gave the Hawks a 12-5 lead with 9:15 left in the game.

Brooks Hanson collected two goals and two assists. Ricky Bloom and Alec Heflin each scored two goals. Grant Brunsvold added a goal and an assist.

Zach Cegielski won six-of-seven faceoffs and collected four ground balls. Luke Goetz posted six ground balls, two caused turnovers and two faceoffs. Hayden Harris finished with 15 saves and four ground balls.

Rockhurst (3-2) outshot Pueblo (0-1), 58-36. Lindahl and Bloom led the Hawks with 10 shots apiece. Brunsvold and Hanson combined for 15 shots.
