Hawks fall at home to 11th-ranked Rollins

Rollins pulled way in the second half to post a 22-8 victory over Rockhurst in men's lacrosse Saturday at RU's Bourke Field.

The 11th-ranked Tars (7-0) scored six unanswered goals in the first half to take a 9-2 lead. The Hawks scored four of the next five goals to cut the Rollins' lead to 10-6 early in the second half.

Alec Heflin led the Hawks with three goals and 10 shots. Zach Cegielski posted seven faceoff wins and three ground balls. Sam Lindahl collected one goal, one assist and three ground balls. Judge Greenberger added four ground balls.

Hayden Harris finished with 15 saves and four ground balls.

The Hawks (3-3) host Maryville on Wednesday afternoon.
