Maryville scored five runs in the first three innings on the way to a 7-4 victory over Rockhurst in the final game of the series Sunday at RU's Loyola Park.
The Saints scored two runs in the first on a pair of RBI singles and added a run in the second and two more in the third. The Hawks rallied to score two runs on two hits in the fifth.
Freshman Cole Wagner, who had two of RU's eight hits, singled home two runs in the eighth. Michael Laudando collected an RBI single in the fifth.
Michael Hellman held the Saints to two runs on four hits over 6.2 innings in relief of starter Jake Canent (1-1).
