Men breeze to 20-3 win over Adams State

Eleven players scored goals to lead Rockhurst to a 20-3 victory over Adams State Friday at RU's Bourke Field.

The Hawks scored the first 16 goals of the game in the first 45 minutes. Rockhurst held the Grizzlies to 16 shots in the first three periods.

Sam Lindahl and  Alec Heflin led the Hawks with four points apiece. Lindahl posted two goals and two assists. Heflin tallied one goal and three assists.

Jack Vande Ven, Brooks Hanson and Will Wynn each scored three goals. Grant Brunsvold collected two goals, one assist and two ground balls. Jake Fisher added two goals.

Zach Cegielski totaled nine faceoff wins and five ground balls. Hayden Harris finished with five saves.

Rockhurst finished with 53 shots, including 32 in the first half. The Hawks (5-3) play at Lewis on Saturday, April 2.
