Golden Bears collect win over Hawks

Three players combined for 15 goals to lead Concordia-St. Paul to a 19-8 victory over Rockhurst Sunday in the Concordia Dome in St. Paul, Minn.

The Golden Bears jumped out to a 7-2 lead after the first period. The Hawks went on a 5-2 run to cut its deficit to 9-6 with 4:19 left in the first half. Concordia-St. Paul ended the game on an 8-1 run.

Logan Derosia and Helen Krause each scored four points on two goals and two assists. Kelly Marion posted two goals and three ground balls. Mackenzie Blair had a one goal, one assist, two ground balls and three draw controls.

Katelyn Kochanowski added three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Sydney Shindler and Madeline Morrison combined for 14 saves and 10 ground balls.
