Rockhurst split a Sunday doubleheader against Upper Iowa at Loyola Park. The Hawks won the second game 4-1 after dropping the first game 6-0.
Game One: Upper Iowa 6, RU 0
Upper Iowa shut down the Hawks on four hits. The Peacocks scored two runs in the second inning and added solo runs in four of their last five at-bats.
- Connor Ellefson singled in the second and doubled in the sixth.
- Clayton Medlin (1-2) allowed five runs on five hits and struck out four over 5.2 innings.
Game Two: RU 4, Upper Iowa 1
Rockhurst scored three runs in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie. Freshman Michael Laudando singled home the go-ahead run. Ellefson made it 3-1 with a sacrifice fly to right and freshman Cole Wagner added an RBI single.
- Freshman right-hander Ethan Kulpinski (2-0) held the Peacocks to one run on four hits over 6.0 innings. Thomas Jones pitched the seventh to pick up his third save of the season.
- Laudando collected two of the Hawks' four hits, while Wagner drove in two runs.
