Rockhurst rallied in the final game of the day to complete a four-game sweep over Bemidji State at the Creighton Prep Baseball Field in Omaha, Nebraska. The Hawks opened the day with a 4-1 win and posted an 8-7 victory in the second game.
Game One: RU 4, Bemidji State 1
Michael Laudando held the Beavers to one run on three hits over seven innings. The freshman right-hander struck out 12 and walked one in his second start of the season.
Game Two: RU 8, Bemidji State 7
Rockhurst overcame a 6-2 deficit in the sixth inning, The Hawks scored two runs in each of their final three at-bats. Bennett broke a 6-6 tie with a two-run single in the eighth.
