Two Hawks receive All-GLVC recognition

Graduate defender Gianmarco Donnini and graduate goalkeeper Andrea Dorella earned All-GLVC honors in Men's Soccer, it was announced by the league office today (Nov. 3).

Donnini was selected to the All-GLVC First Team. Donnini played 1,282 minutes to lead a defense that only allowed 12 goals in 16 games. Dorella was named to the All-GLVC Third Team. He leads the GLVC in shutouts (9) and save percentage (84.4), while ranking second in goals against average (0.75) in the conference.

The league also recognized 13 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honorees and one Team award winner: William Jewell. Parker Esparza is the honoree from Rockhurst. Esparza is now eligible to become one of RU's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year.
