Rockhurst suffers road loss at Missouri Western

Missouri Western jumped out to a double-digit lead early in coasting to an 82-46 victory over Rockhurst Tuesday night in St. Joseph, Missouri.

The Griffons led 45-29 at halftime while shooting 64.3 percent from the field. Missouri Western shot 53.8 percent from the field for the game while four players combined for 59 points and 21 rebounds.

Rich Byhre led the Hawks with 11 points, six rebounds and three blocks. Timaris Brown posted seven points and three rebounds. Nico Felici tallied with six points and two steals.

Rockhurst shot 28.6 percent from the field (16-of-56) and 58.8 percent from the foul line (10-of-17).
