Hawks rally for 3-1 win over Indy in GLVC Tournament

Rockhurst rallied to post a 3-1 victory over Indianapolis in the quarterfinals of the GLVC Championship Tournament Thursday night in East Peoria, Illinois.

The third-seeded Hawks (19-6) will meet second-seeded Missouri-St. Louis (21-5) in a semifinal match at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Top-seeded Quincy (27-1) will play fourth-seeded Lewis (20-8) in Friday's first semifinal at 2:30 p.m.

After dropping the first set, 25-20, the Hawks evened the match with a 25-21 win in the second set. Rockhurst overcame two set points to win the third set, 26-24, and closed out the match with a 25-21 win in the fourth set.

Tera Reberry led the Hawks with 19 kills and six blocks. Kenzie Hines posted 17 kills and 11 digs. Sarah Pyle tallied 13 kills and six digs. Sydney Raszler collected 12 kills, while Gracie LaForge tacked on 11 kills and five blocks.

Sarah Montague finished with 56 assists and 12 digs. Maureen Reilly had a team-high 29 digs. Freshman Gracey Janes added 10 digs.

Rockhurst finished with a .238 hitting percentage. The Hawks collected 73 kills, 82 digs and eight blocks.
