Hines powers Hawks to 3-0 win over No. 23 Lewis

Kenzie Hines posted 17 kills and 15 digs to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over 23rd-ranked Lewis Friday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks survived a set point by Lewis to win the first set, 26-24. Hines combined for 12 kills to power Rockhurst to 25-18 and 25-17 wins in the second and third sets.

Hines did not commit a hitting error while collecting a .472 hitting percentage. Freshman Sydney Raszler tallied eight digs and four blocks. Tera Reberry posted eight kills and two blocks.

Sarah Montague finished with 36 assists and eight digs. Maureen Reilly had a team-high 16 digs. Freshmen Carly Rolf and Gracey Janes combined for 19 digs.

Rockhurst finished with a .209 hitting percentage. The Hawks finished with 43 kills, 68 digs and seven blocks.
