Raszler leads Hawks to 3-1 win over Prairie Stars

Sydney Raszler tallied 20 kills and six blocks to lead Rockhurst to a 3-1 victory over Illinois Springfield Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks won first set, 25-20, with Raszler posting eight kills. The freshman middle hitter combined for 11 kills to carry Rockhurst to 25-14 and 25-21 wins in the third and fourth sets over the Prairie Stars.

Kenzie Hines collected 12 kills and nine digs. Gracie LaForge added 10 kills. Tera Reberry and Sarah Pyle combined for 14 kills.

Sarah Montague finished with 51 assists and 10 digs. Maureen Reilly had a team-high 23 digs. Freshmen Carly Rolf and Gracey Janes combined for 17 digs.

Rockhurst finished with a .273 hitting percentage. The Hawks finished with 56 kills, 63 digs and 10 services aces.
